I’m a data manager at the University of Michigan. I’m not sure if you’re familiar with the term, but it’s a fancy way of saying “I work with data.” Data managers are the people who work with data. Data managers are the people who make sure that data is clean, ready to be used, and can be used to answer the questions we want to answer.
I’m going to tell you about some of the things I’ve learned as a data manager. I’m going to tell you about some of the things I’ve learned about data, about how data works, and about how to make data work for you.
What does a clinical data manager do?
