I’m a recent graduate from a top-notch university with a degree in a STEM field. I’ve been working as a contractor for the past few years, but I want to work for a company that has a more “corporate” feel. I’m currently living in the Washington, DC area, and I’d like to work remotely.
I’ve been applying for jobs in the travel industry (specifically, Travelers), but I haven’t been able to find any. I’ve applied through Indeed, Monster, and Glassdoor, and I’ve had no luck.
I’m wondering if it’s possible to get hired remotely at Travelers, and if so, how?
I’ve also been applying to jobs in the health care industry, and I’ve had a little more luck there. I’ve had a few interviews, and I’ve been invited to the next round.
I’m looking for a job in the DC area, but I’m open to other locations.
