Macy's and remote work

Does Macy’s allow remote workers?

If so, what are the requirements?

I’m currently working remotely for a company that is based in New York and I’m currently based in California. I’m looking to relocate to New York and would like to know if Macy’s allows remote workers.
I’m also curious about the requirements for remote workers. I’m not sure if they would require me to be in a specific area or if they would allow me to work from anywhere in the country.
Thanks for your help.
I don’t believe Macy’s allows remote workers. They have a very strict policy on that.

Can Macy’s employees work remotely?

The answer is yes.

Macy’s announced that it will allow its employees to work remotely up to 10 days a month, depending on the employee’s location.
“The change is a result of the company’s ongoing commitment to flexibility and the desire to provide a more positive work-life balance,” said CEO Jeff Gennette in a statement. “This change is being implemented in response to the changing nature of the retail industry and the increased demand for flexibility from our customers.”
Macy’s also announced it would give full-time employees who work remotely full-time pay.
“We want to support our employees and our customers in the current environment,” said Gennette. “We are grateful for the continued support of our associates and customers as we navigate these unprecedented times.”
