Working remotely at Jabil

Does Jabil allow work from home?

The answer is yes, but it’s not a great idea.

Last week I received an email from a reader who wanted to know whether Jabil Electronics, Inc. (NASDAQ: JBL) allows its employees to work from home.
Jabil has been a consistent leader in the manufacturing sector for the past 25 years, and it has a market cap of $4.2 billion. The company makes a wide range of products including electronic components and systems, semiconductor packaging and testing, and other electronic products.
I’ve been covering the company for the past four years, and I can tell you that the company has made a great effort to reduce its corporate expenses in the past few years. Jabil has been a consistent leader in this regard, and the company is now paying down a significant portion of its long-term debt.
In addition to the company’s strong financial performance, I’ve also been impressed with the company’s growth in emerging markets, including China and India.
However, I’m not sure that Jabil has a lot of room to grow, and I think that the company’s stock price has been a little high relative to its earnings growth over the past few years.

Is it possible to get hired remotely at Jabil?
