Remote work at iHeartMedia

Does iHeartMedia allow remote workers?

Here is what they say about it.

iHeartMedia, the largest radio broadcaster in the U.S., is a global company with more than 1,200 radio stations in more than 60 countries. It’s also a company that has a very different approach to remote work than most.
The company says it’s a company that embraces remote work. It’s one of the largest companies in the world to do so.
“We are one of the few companies that actually embrace remote work,” said Greg Clayman, chief digital officer of iHeartMedia. “We have no central office, no central staff. We have a global staff of about 5,000 people. We have about 2,000 people in the U.S. and about 3,000 in other countries.”
I recently spoke with Clayman about how iHeartMedia is embracing remote work and how it’s helping the company achieve its goals.

What are the benefits of remote work for iHeartMedia?
The first thing we did was we said, “Let’s look at the things that are important to us, and let’s look at the things that are important to our employees.” And what we found was that we have a very diverse workforce. We have people who are in the U.S. and people who are in other countries.
