HD Supply Holdings’ CEO, Tom Davis, told Business Insider that the company’s decision was made because of the coronavirus, but also because of the company’s desire to be able to quickly adapt to the changing needs of the company.
“We’ve been a company that’s been able to rapidly change and adapt to the changing needs of our customers,” Davis said. “We were able to quickly change our business model when we saw the need to change our business model.”
We spoke with Davis and a representative from HD Supply Holdings to find out more about the company’s decision to allow employees to work remotely, and what the company has done to ensure the safety of its employees.
