Remote work at Celanese

Does Celanese allow work from home?

Celanese has a number of locations in the United States, but they are not open to telecommuting. There are a number of reasons for this:
The company has a strong focus on quality and safety. They are very serious about the quality of their products and the safety of their employees. They want their employees to be in the same room as the product to ensure that everything is done right.
Celanese is a very large company. They have a lot of people in different departments. It would be very hard to coordinate the work of so many people. They want to be sure that everyone is doing the same thing at the same time.
They have a lot of different products and a lot of different customers. They don’t want to risk having the wrong product being sent to the wrong customer.

How do you describe remote work?

Here is what we have learned.

Remote work has been around for a while, but it’s only now that the number of companies and workers who work from home is growing. According to a survey by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the number of workers who work remotely increased from 18% to 26% between 2012 and 2014.
And the trend is only growing. According to the World Economic Forum, in the next decade, the number of workers who will work remotely will increase from 20% to 40%.
The numbers are staggering. And that’s why we decided to look into what the trend means for the way we work.
The benefits of remote work
The benefits of remote work are obvious:
You work where you want. You can work from home, you can work from a coffee shop, you can work in a coworking space, or even work from a friend’s apartment.
You save money. You don’t have to pay for office space, you don’t have to pay for office supplies, you don’t have to pay for your lunch.
You save time. You can spend more time with your family and friends, you can take care of your health and you can have more time for hobbies and personal projects.
