It’s been almost a month since the ceasefire in Ukraine came into effect. But the situation in the country’s east is deteriorating and the region is on the brink of a major humanitarian crisis.
I travelled to Donetsk to see what’s happening there.
The first thing I noticed was the cold.
It was freezing, but I was also surprised by the number of people out in the streets.
It was a busy Saturday morning in the city centre.
The city had been calm for a while, but there were still a lot of people about.
I walked down to the river.
